This report includes the schedules, hours of operation, maps of the locations of the Queens Farmers Markets / Green Markets in Queens NY. This includes the farmers markets located in Astoria, Long Island City, Sunnyside, Woodside, Jackson Heights, Corona, Flushing, Jamaica and Glendale.
The Farmers Markets / Green Markets for Queens have begun. The first three opened on June 6th in Sunnyside and Atlas Park, and on June 7th in Jackson Heights.
Greenmarkets / Farmers Markets - Queens NY
These outdoor markets are sponsored by the City of New York Department of Parks and Recreation and the Council on the Environment of NYC, except for the Flushing and Jamaica markets noted below.
The Flushing farmers market is done in collaboration with the NY Hall Of Science and the Jamaica market is done in collaboration with Local Harvest, a non-profit organization in Jamaica. Open July 11 - November 21: Saturdays between 8 am and 3 pm. From September 21 through November from 10 am to 4 pm Hunters Point Hidden Treasures, an arts group will be selling arts and crafts alongside the farmers market.
